This washer-type force transducer is designed for compression applications. It can also be used in tensile applications, provided the direction of force is modified mechanically (consult us). This transducer is easy to install, as it is very thin. We use this sensor for both static and dynamic measurements (50% measurement range). This sensor is available in 2 forms, with or without central hole, diameter 8 mm. The form with a central hole is preferred, as it is often simpler to install and, above all, it transmits force more easily in an axial direction.
These sensors can be combined with displays or transmitters. These are calibrated in our metrology laboratory and supplied with a measurement report. Power supply: 10 Vdc Operating temperature: -40°C to 120°C Compensated temperature: 0°C to 60°C Linearity: ≤ ±1% from EM Hysteresis: ≤ ±1% of ME Zero drift: <2% of ME /60°C Within compensated range Sensitivity drift: 100MΩ at 50 Vdc EM signal: 100 mV 2m output cable as standard (other lengths on request)
