This robust, foldable thermocouple is ideal for measuring temperatures up to 1200°C in solid, liquid or gaseous environments. The two thermocouple wires are insulated in magnesia compacted in an Inconel 600 sheath (or 316L stainless steel for type T thermocouples).. Other sheath materials are also available on request. MESUREX regularly manufactures this type of thermocouple according to specific requirements, e.g. diameter, length, hot soldering insulated from ground, to ground, exposed for optimized response time. This thermocouple can be used immediately, but it's best to fit a compensated connector. MESUREX stocks a wide range of diameters and lengths, which are available for rapid repair.
