Eco-design and reconditioning of thermocouples: an ecological and economical gesture

Faced with the major climatic challenges we face, a new way of thinking about, developing, using and recycling our products is emerging: eco-design. Indeed, ISO 14006:2020 defines and develops the notion of eco-design or «life-cycle thinking» for a device. This notion refers to the consideration of environmental aspects associated with a product throughout its entire life cycle: raw material acquisition, design, development, manufacturing, delivery, installation, use (including reuse, maintenance, repair, reconditioning, refurbishment and upgrading), end-of-life treatment and disposal.
The aim of eco-design is to measure and reduce a product's impact on the environment throughout its entire life cycle. But there's another significant advantage for companies wishing to apply this methodology: lower production costs. So, reconditioning and refurbishing used and worn-out products is both an ecological and an economic gesture.
With this in mind, MESUREX offers to recondition your wired thermocouples. This service includes hot-spot rework, various in-depth tests to ensure that your reconditioned sensors are working properly, and calibration if necessary.
