This model of temperature sensor is designed for use in high-temperature measurements in annealing or heat treatment furnaces. It is also used as a replacement element in CIS version pyrometric rods.

The assembly of ceramic beads in which thermocouple wires are used offers a solution for temperature measurement very robust and hardy, and withstands very high temperatures. It's the perfect product for ovens or pyrometric rods.

Beads are either jointed or monobloc to ensure a hold. Ceramic beads (held 1450°C in C610 or 1800°C in C799) insulate the thermocouple. The hot spot may be visible or slightly recessed in the bead.
