Rigid tube temperature sensor - SD

This temperature sensor of the SD series consists of a sensitive element (PT100 / thermocouple) mounted in a rigid stainless steel tube.

This configuration allows temperature measurements to be taken in a variety of environments, including liquid environments (waterproof version with one-piece bonding) or wet (crimped version). It's the ideal product to meet the requirements of a autoclave. As an option, we can fit a double-wall Teflon coating to protect the stainless steel when it is attacked by a chemical agent. highly corrosive liquid.

The choice of tube diameter depends on the size of the sensing element and the size of the connecting cable.

PT100 rigid tube

  • Sensitive element PT100 / PT1000 or thermocouple type K, J, N, E, T or S (with 10kΩ CTN thermistors accurate to ±0.3% available on request)
  • Measurement range : -60°C ... 250°C (depending on the type of extension cable)
  • Sheathing type 304 stainless steel as standard (316L or other on request)
  • Type of extension Standard shielded Teflon 250°C (unshielded Teflon, PVC, silicone, glass silk on request)
  • Precision Class A (PT100) / Class 1 (TC), in accordance with NF EN 60584-1 as standard (other on request)
  • Diameter (D): 3 / 6 mm as standard (others on request - see datasheet)
  • Useful tube length (L): 50 / 100 / 300 / 500 mm as standard (others on request - 500 mm maximum)
  • Extension length 2 m. standard (others on request)
  • Connections : bare wires as standard (specific connector on request)
  • PT100 mounting 3-wire as standard (2 or 4-wire on request, depending on feasibility)
